apComms seeks to encourage debate on a range of communications issues,
bringing together relevant stakeholders including Government,
Parliamentarians, industry and consumer groups.
Chris Mole MP
Chris Mole is Labour MP for Ipswich, having been elected via a by-election in 2001. Prior to this he was Leader of Suffolk County Council. Since entering Parliament, Chris Mole has served as PPS to the Minister of State for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and is currently PPS at the DCLG. An experienced Committee member, he currently sits on the Science and Technology Committee and the Joint Committee on the Draft Human Tissue and Embryos Bill. Saliently, Chris was behind the Legal Depositories Libraries Bill, which called for publishers to capture all books electronically by law. An electronics graduate from the University of Kent, he formerly worked as a Telecoms Research Manager.
