19th - 20th September 2002
Members of APIG travelled with Siemens to Munich to look at the
German experience of rolling out broadband. The MP's found the trip
informative, and useful for comparing roll-out in Germany with roll-out
in the UK.
10th July 2002 - Summer Reception
On the 10th July the group held its annual summer reception. The
event was a huge success. Lord Sainsbury, the Minister for Science and
Innovation, was the guest speaker at the event which was sponsored by
OneTel and Eutelsat.

19th March 2002 - Delivery of Online Government Services
The All Party Parliamentary Internet Group held a discussion meeting
on the "Delivery of Online Government Services: Will the targets be
met?" Speakers attended from the Office of the E-envoy, the
Office of Government Commerce and an industry representative.
